What this workshop is
This workshop is dedicated to the practice of cliché verre, a historical technique that combines drawing or painting with photographic processes, without the use of a camera.
The work involves the manual production of a negative on a transparent support, such as glass or acetate, from which photographic prints are produced by contact, using natural light.
Topics covered
Production of negatives on transparent supports (glass or acetate)
Drawing and direct pictorial intervention on the support
Preparation for contact printing
Printing the negatives using the salted paper process
Understanding the relationship between gesture, negative and final image
Who this workshop is for
This workshop is intended for photographers, artists and individuals interested in historical photographic processes and hybrid practices between drawing and photography.

Workshop format
The workshop is conducted on an individual basis or for a maximum of two participants, allowing close guidance throughout the entire process.
The working pace is adjusted to the objectives of each participant, making it possible to explore different graphic approaches and materials.
Methodology
The approach is essentially practical, centred on direct experimentation and reflection on gesture, support and the photographic process.
Error is understood as an integral part of learning, allowing participants to understand the limitations of the method and to consolidate an autonomous practice.
